Journey To A New Hope is loosely based on a story from my family history. My great great grandparents came from Russia to Saskatchewan, Canada, where they made their home, and raised their family. This is actually the story that got me started writing. I've put it on hold to work on the Schoolyard Chronicles.
I don't know yet what it's going to become. It was born as a short story, but I've thought about maybe turning it into a full blown novel.
